Open source projects FontArk uses:
SVG-edit
We used svg-edit as the base for FontArk beta development.
Jonathan Resig’s jQuery library .
jQuery UI
We use jQuery-UI for making the dialog boxes (document properties) draggable, as well as for the opacity slider.
js-hotkeys is used to bind all keyboard events in the editor.
George Adamson’s Web Spin-Button provided a starting point to implementing a cross-browser spin control in SVG-edit. A few bugs were fixed with compatibility by SVG-edit.
Alexis Deveria’s svg-icon-loader is used to load in some SVG icons for the user interface.
Some of the icons used in FontArk come from the Tango Desktop Project which are released into the public domain. Some icons may also come from the Silk Icon Project, which is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 2.5 License. Some of the icons were hand-drawn (in SVG-edit itself and by SVG-edit), All the others were drawn by us.
Coyote Graphics
We created a Javascript adaptation for several classes written originally by Mark McKay in his Java project Coyota Graphics
Script#
Nikhil Kothari Script# framework is used in some places. We found it very helpful when writing wrappers and logic.
